Mister Flic himself definitely is a heavyweight, not just as a DJ behind the turntables. He always doesn´t mince matters and let you know what it’s all about, independent if it hurts or not… the complete opposite of this are his sounds, playful dub-basslines laying on the ground, preparing a warm basement for delicate synthpads and piano chords ornated with discreet percussive elements. Thats what we call easy listening stuff by merging timeless grooves and epic atmospheres. Beside we got the debut of Bjorn Rohde for doing a great dubby remix on the original for the first Yola Dub House Session.

Beathovens Sphere by Drehkontrolle released today!

Drehkontrolle aka Sven Kegel is presenting his new Track “Beathovens Sphere” on Diametral, directly moving onto the dancefloor by using stripped down techhouse-beats combined with an epical break including great classic strings. For remixing we did a big label-coop with the labelheads of Bulletdodge, Gareth Whitehead, Overdrive Records, Sophie Nixdorf and Skript Music, Robin Jacobs, all interpreting the original in their very unique electronic way.

The last Chill this year… with Flashbeat Project – Strange Feeling

Flashbeat Project consists of the two Berlin based producers Spinne and Amebasound who originally came out of the HipHop and EBM scene, now diving into some downbeat and ambient. Flashbeat Project already gave their release debut on “Not that Simple Sound“, the first Diametral Chill release in 2011, presenting now the first single EP “Strange Feeling” with 5 tracks inviting the listener to a journey of time and space. Chilled down beats, clear synths and percussions with drops of light embraced by gloomy basslines and psychedelic elements awaits full listener attention, just close your eyes and relax.

Automale EP released – New Project by M.Rahn

After a long term and a lot of great releases on namable labels such as Trapez, KonvexKonkav, Night Drive or DimbiDeep Music, M. Rahn is presenting his new project AUTOMALE. He is starting with three tracks produced for the pure deep dancefloor, straight forward with its basic grooves, alot of delays, chords and complex soundscapes sourrounded by discreet percussive elements. Its just this kind of hypnotic sounds Automale will stand for, hooking the listener to an other dimension in electronic music.

Oliver Lieb presenting Collider EP incl. Solee Remix

Frankfurt based DJ & producer Oliver Lieb made it into the premier league of international Producers back in the late 90′s. He always keeps surprising and amazing people with his extraordinary sounds and diversity. More than two decades to follow Oliver released everything in the electronic genres from downtempo and chillout to hard experimental techno and trance. His project Spicelab on Sven Väth’s legendary Harthouse label established a platform for his highly appreciated sounds, which developed into one of the most important projects of the label including the release of three full length album releases. Beside his LSG and Paragliders releases on Superstition Rec. are still considered as one of the most influencing and timeless trance projects and were developed for more than 10 years and 5 Albums.

In fact we are very proud to present you Oliver with a great new release on Diametral starting with “Collider” a great driving techno track combing the good old sounds with the state of art in producing by diving into a massive break of time and space hypnotizing all listeners around. Along the original well known Solee is hooking up the dancefloor with his special sounds focusing on energetic basslines and epic synths. Matthias Springer instead turns it into his unique dubby techhouse style generating a discreet assmover. Closing the release with a great afterhour-hymn called “Cluster” that takes the listener into some new dimensions in modern electronic music.

Cromosom is strictly evolving this time with Sweden based Techno mastermind Mattias Fridell highly recommended for his latest works on labels like Affin, Gynoid Audio, Sonntag Morgen, Compound and then some. Mattias is presenting 3 new developed Cromosoms in his unique dry industrial touched way of performing a hypnotic kind of techno, directly moving onto the dancefloor. Beside we got Elektrax labelhead DJ Hi-Shock using his alias \”Advanced Human\” and supporting this massive release with a great big room techno remix on the original of track one. Let’s get it on …

Our sublabel DimbiDeep Music comes again with Model 1975 known as former part of Confusion Concepts. He is presenting his latest experimentation in techno and dub combined to that “Iration” including dry beats, shuffled percussions and discreet dub elements, alongside with that great Dub Mix. Franksen appeared on deep and techhouse labels from Suara or Dieb.Audio to Plastic City, WePlayMinimal, InCase Recordings, Salted Music, Amused and many more. Since 2009 he has released a string of fine tracks with collabo partners Tom Wax or D. Diggler. 2012 is his time to go solo. Franksen releases on Circle Music, Kaato Music, Amused Records, Mainakustik, Global Ritmico, Meleon Music and more labels to come. For DIAMETRAL he delivers an EP full of versatile techhouse flavours. Where his long lasting love for old school sounds embraces modern and functional arrangements. Timeless chords, fervent beats and an overall soulful yet demanding vibe makes this release a nicely mixed package that could fill the soundspace of any club at any time of the night!

Matthias Springer presenting the Gletscher Remixes !!!

It just took a long time on Matthias Springers “Gletscher” project for hooking up some of his close friendly producers around, thats why we have to release the DREX013 when the DREX014 was already on stock… Sum up for the whole spectrum in deep electronic sounds Matthias invited some really great deep artists to remix the original. Mattias Fridell starts with great techno vibes on dry kicks and soft pads. Byron Bogues and Lars Leonhard got in touch with that epic styled deephouse and laidback synth-loops flying around. Matteo Pitton did a fusion of downtempo breaks and minimal dubhouse just as intro for the techhouse sounds on a discreet Model 1975 remix, closing up with the lush original and that cold, glassy pling-plong hookling that got all remixes as basic hook.
